I can’t think of the name of the Las Vegas movie about how it all started. It’s a mafia movie about the guy who started it all. In end, he’ll be taken into a helicopter and he’ll be dead. In the movie, he has a wife and a mistress. The mistress will screw him about something with financies, as far as I can remember.

i went to New York in 2006 but apart from going on tour buses and seeing the general sites, shopping my poor little heart out, watching many musicals on broad way and the odd helicopter flight around the statue of liberty i found nothing else to do there.. and within 3 days i got bored.

now my mum wants to have another trip to new york but i don’t want to do the exact same things .. because its boring.

what exciting things are there to do in New York for a second time visitor???

Currently an EMT. Was going to goto fire school but I had a major injury (torn achillis) so thats out of the question. I’m checking out going to chopper school. I’ve seen some jobs here and there but really not too many.

Are there lots of helicopter jobs out there, entry and professional levels?

I know you can become a flight instructor, how much a year would you make doing that?

I live in Florida and the oil rigs in the gulf I know hire pilots to go back and forth. Is that lucrative? Do they hire entry level pilots?

The school I’m looking at has an FAA/JAA course for only about 1/4 more. I’ve been also thinking about moving out to the UK… does anyone know if they have lots of jobs out there and do you make good money?

I bought a shirt at a local store in Chicago, (Medusa’s Circle), by a company called Unknown Artist. no website was listed on the tags, and the girl behind the counter was unable to even get me info on how i could even get a catalog or something.

Searching for “Unknown Artist” with any combination of shirt, clothing, apparel, etc. brings up nothing, as there are way too many websites with works by unknown artists.

All i know is that they are based in NYC, everything is handmade, stained, etc., and that the shirt i have has a print of helicopters dropping TVs.

Can anyone from NYC or anyone else who knows about them let me know if they have a website, or a catalog i can order from them?

The Obamas had a date night in NYC at our expense. $24000.00 to fly planes, helicopters, reporters, secret service, etc. They paid about $100 each for the two tickets to the theatre.

Tell me, how does this guy get away with telling US to be conservative about spending money and tightening belts, when he’s out there spending YOUR money to have a night on the town?

I’m furious, and I hope everyone else is as well. This guy has no moral compass. People are losing their homes, moving in with relatives or moving into homeless shelters. Kids are forced to leave behind beloved pets, toys, bikes, all the things that make them feel grounded.

Job losses are astronomical. People have lost their entire savings - and I don’t care WHO you blame, Dems, Republicans - it doesn’t matter. They lost everything. And the President is out on a date on YOUR dime.

Come the 2010 election, it is imperative that we have a Republican majority. A shift in majority is the ONLY way to stop the hemorrhaging of cash by the House and Senate.

Every country in the world can see what’s happening to us, and we are the only ones who can stop this.
I don’t begrudge them a night out, of course they deserve to have a social life. But where is it written that we have to pay for it? Why three planes? why are we paying for the reporters to fly along?
