When Barry and Michelle took in their Broadway Show recently in NYC…….why did the President need 3 Government Planes + 2 Government Helicopters to transport the entire Obama entourage ?

Why did Obama need 1 Government Plane to transport himself and Michelle + 2 more Government Planes to transport Reporters and Obama Aides + 2 Government Helicopters to transport the Obama’s to and from Airports when all prior Presidents merely flew into NYC on 1 plane and were driven around in a car ?
Will - the answer is NO other President ever came to NYC using 3 Government Planes + 2 Government Helicopters like Obama did and………….Obama wants US to ” tighten our belts ” ?

Two martinis, a swank restaurant, a Broadway show President Obama really knows how to treat a First Lady.

“I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished,” the president said yesterday after touching down at JFK for an intimate night on the town.

The first couple left their girls, Sasha and Malia, behind at the White House yesterday afternoon, taking two helicopters and a small Air Force jet to make their way to Manhattan.

The Obamas were dressed to the nines — Michelle in a sleeveless, black cocktail dress adorned with fringe, a pair of low, strappy heels and a turquoise clutch; and the president in a dark suit and white shirt, no tie.

The first stop after touch ing down at JFK was a meal at a low-key, but elegant, Greenwich Village restaurant, XXXX XXXX, which boasts farm fresh, locally grown dishes.

Obamas were tucked into an out-of-the- way corner table where they enjoyed a multi- course feast specially prepared by the chef. They washed down the fine fare with wine, said a fellow diner, who also noticed Michelle relaxing with a couple of martinis.

Photographers were kept blocks away behind barri ades for the first couple’s privacy.

today congress is having another emergency meeting about the 700 billion dollar wall street bail out and suposed dire outcome for us citizens. i have been saying it is a big scam trying to be pulled out by our government reps. my son inlaw goes to work from the hamptons to wall street by helicopter. he also has co-op in nyc and houses in florida and lake front home in dutchess county ny. he works for small investment co. and is on the low rung of the ladder of pay among his co-workers. his december bonus last year was 500,000 dollars not including his salary yet his company posted loss for the year. he claims he will get about the same bonus this year yet they have even more losses. my grandsons girlfriend works as an registerd nurse and makes 90,000 a year with little overtime. the nice young man who picks up our trash drives a brand new lexus and came by our neighbors house to inquire about his 28 foot fishing boat for sale. he also stated that he will be on vacation all of the month for november and spend time at his country home in pa. today the ny yankees re-signed jay giambi for 33 million dollars just for next year. the ny giants football team has stated they will be chargeing a sur charge of up to 20,000 dollars for season ticket holders. of couse i can go on and on but i still say their is no economic crisis what so ever. have i been wrong?
