New York Helicopter

I am 13 and live in Minnesota. I would like very much to become a helicopter pilot, but I want to know how old i have to be to attend flight school. I don’t want a license yet, and I know the age is 16 for a student license. Does this mean I have to be 16 to go to school?

Hi I have been doing a lot of research on this topic,but I cant seem to find a direct answer. I have been holding off on going to a flight only because I don’t want to waste my money on school if there isn’t going to be any jobs available.

I have a chance to apply for a helicopter pilot job in Mexico but I need a Mexican license to do it. All of my ratings are current here in the U.S. but I can’t find information anywhere for how to get a license down there. Does anyone have any information? -Mike

I’ve finally started helicopter pilot’s lessons and my instructor informed me that I will need to be 50% of the way through the ground school before we go on our dual cross country. What is a good online course for this?

Im looking for a job as a helicopter pilot in the new york city area. Can anyone give me names of different companies that could hire me or agencies that I could go to?

I’d also like to know the best location, assigment or type of job that is most family-friendly.

Im a college grad in Finance working a temp job, I want to accomplish my goal of becoming a Helicopter Flight instructor in 4 years. What would be the best route to achieve this goal? Is joining the army a good option considering i get the 15T MOS or become a warrant officer? Go to a local flight school and become an instructor?

I have been wanting to become a helicopter pilot for some time now, I wanted to know the best route to becoming a pilot. Would training on becoming a helicopter mechanic be seen as more employable and would the military be a good choice for this route? Are there many flight instructor slots available in the country, relocation is not a problem for me.

I want to become a helecoptor pilot, i live in boston ma, and was thinking of going to the Blue Hill Helicopter school in norwood mass. Ive always drempt about being a helecoptor pilot but i have no idea if i can make a real living at it. What are some of the jobs that i can get, and how much do they pay. Some people have told me that the average helecoptor pilot makes over 100k a year, but others have said its very difficult to even get a job. What are your opinions on the matter, is it worth becoming a helecoptor pilot, as your principal source of income, can you make a lot of money with this type of skills, and what kind of demand is their for helecoptor pilots

Hey guys, I have just gotten a commercail helicopter pilot license, I am Instrument rated, and the school I have been attending has recently bankrupted. Some of you may have heard of this… Sooo, I am not able to get my instructors license at the moment. I’ve applied for few jobs, and I know it’s nearly inpossible for me to get a PIC job, so i also applied for a SIC job in a large helicopter. I need advice!!! What should I do???? All advice helpful!!!
