what things are there to do in New York?
i went to New York in 2006 but apart from going on tour buses and seeing the general sites, shopping my poor little heart out, watching many musicals on broad way and the odd helicopter flight around the statue of liberty i found nothing else to do there.. and within 3 days i got bored.
now my mum wants to have another trip to new york but i don’t want to do the exact same things .. because its boring.
what exciting things are there to do in New York for a second time visitor???
Check out canal street. It’s full of nock off designer wear for super cheap.
Ride the subway. Just don’t do it alone at night.
Visit rockafeller center and go ice skating.
Visit the island where all the immigrants came to america and signed their names (ellis island???)
Take a carriage ride through central park.
Visit the largest church. It’s amazing. You can barely see the top of the building inside.
and there are lots of other things too.
you are so ungreatfull a shining example of an ignorant person, i live in the UK and i have just come back from NY a couple of days ago, NY is the trip of a lifetime for anybody you gets the chance to go, i would go back in a heartbeat, what an amazing place!
You dont deareve to go back!
Been To NYC Twice.
1st Time was a week and we did soo much! I didn’t get bored once the 2nd time was 5 days and i did start to get a bit bored.
-We did some of the things again like going up the Empier state (as the 1st year we didn’t have very good views)
-Went to Ground Zero to see how it was coming along.
- Shopping Again (went to a mall this time instead of all around Manhatten!) Manhatten Mall by Macy’s is ok but not great, otherwise go to Queens Mall which is ment to be really good!
- There is a theme park type thing but it’s closed in Winter Go on google and type in New York Theme parks and it comes up with loads! That should be easy to get to.
- Go over to Brooklyn, Queens Or New Jersey
- Central Park Zoo / Meausems
- There might be some new musicals out?
- Madame Tussads is you didn’t go the 1st time or there is a different meausems thing next door which looked good.
- Cinema and see a film that isn’t out yet over here (if your from the UK)
